East Ham's tree lined streets are home to Victorian terraces and beautiful historical buildings.

East Ham has eight parks in it's locality, including the lovely Central Park and Plashet Park which recently had a revamp courtesy of the money provided by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Schools - With at least three East Ham primary schools rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted, the kids are doing well!

Home to the District / Hammersmith & City line, and next year (2018) there will be two Crossrail stations in a three mile radius in Custom House and Forest Gate.

East Ham has some seriously upmarket restaurants. East Ham gives Brick Lane a run for its money. It specialises in South Indian food and curry lovers come from far and wide for a taste of its authentic spicy goodness.

The area is diverse, multicultural and full of creative and community minded people. We love Red Door Studios for arty stuff and Greatfield Residents Association's blog for community get-togethers plus a community craft market which they host quarterly, and with the Olympic Park and the new hotspot Forest Gate both quite close, there is no shortage of things to do.

East Ham and Newham have been given a bad reputation over the years, but if you look into it you might find that this area is now one of London's East End best kept secrets.

Rubbish/Junk Collection Services | E6

As our vehicles are in and around E6 Postcodes most days of the week, it's quite possible we can give you a service on the same day that you call.  We offer a speedy efficient service for many clients who use our services frequently.

Recent Clearance Project | E6:
A tyre depot was closing down (end of lease) and it was situated on one side of a warehouse on the ground floor. Apart from used tyres, there were a large volume of car parts including exhausts, batteries, wheels and engine parts that needed to be recycled.

We were able to sell on most of the equipment including the wheel balancing machine and tyre removal machine and the alignment checking system.
We recycled the batteries and sold on the metal (mostly steel) to scrap metal dealers we use. As a result of selling the equipment to second hand dealers we were able to reimburse the client nearly 50% of our fees - much to his delight.

Beckton was located primarily in the parish of East Ham. It stretched into the ancient parish of Woolwich, which included land on the north bank of the Thames and the parish of Barking that included land to the west of the Roding. The parish boundary was also a county boundary, with Barking and East Ham in Essex and North Woolwich in Kent. In 1889 Woolwich became part of the County of London. In 1914 East Ham became a county borough, essentially a county in its own right. In 1965 the London Borough of Newham was created and all three sections of Beckton became part of the new borough in Greater London
